Volunteer opportunity: Support Mental Health awareness in West London

Help Counselling is seeking Community Outreach Volunteers to help us bridge the gap between our affordable mental health services and the people who need them most.

For almost 60 years, we’ve been supporting those facing anxiety, stress, and depression. Now, we need your local expertise to help us grow our presence in Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, and Hammersmith & Fulham.

About the role

  • Identifying and connecting with local organisations, community groups, and healthcare providers to promote our services.
  • Acting as the primary face of Help Counselling at local events, meetings, and community hubs across West London.
  • Raising awareness of our mental health support to help reduce the stigma around anxiety and depression.
  • Mapping out new opportunities to reach underserved populations within Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, or Hammersmith & Fulham.
  • Keeping the team updated on community feedback and the success of various outreach initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in marketing, events, or fundraising.
  • Deep knowledge or networks in Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, or Hammersmith & Fulham.
  • Confident in building relationships and representing a charity professionally.
  • Desire to be out in the community promoting mental health services.
